Announcing HPCC 2006
The National High Performance Computing and Communications Council will present its 20th Annual HPC Conference on March 28-30, 2006. This year’s meeting is being held at the Newport Hyatt Regency Hotel and Spa, Rhode Island’s premier resort complex.
This conference is the best-kept secret in the Government for education and training in the fields of information technology, security and computing. Visit our web site at WWW.HPCC-USA.ORG for program details.
We present this high-level conference as a forum for the HPCC and IT communities. The audience, which includes senior professionals from DOD, government agencies, industry and, academia, convenes to discuss topics of interest to the community: homeland security, cyberspace security, government plans, programs, policy and initiatives as well as the latest advances in high performance computing, grid computing, cluster technology, computer security and university and industry research. Over the past twenty years, the conference has grown into the community's premier event and is well known for its networking and partnership-building environment.
The program includes high level presentations from: DARPA, DOD, NASA, NSF, DOE, SGI, INTEL, MCMC, OMB and the National Nuclear Security Administration, as well as two panel discussions: “Clusters, Grids, Supercomputers: What Will Drive HPC in the Future?” and “American HPC Enterprise Architecture in the Context of Everything Else.”
The conference also features two networking events: a welcoming reception at the end of the first day and a reception and dinner on Wednesday evening.
The conference also includes a tutorial on 21st Century Data Center Design, presented by American Power Conversion Corporation.
The National HPCC Council is a not-for-profit professional society dedicated to providing education and training in the fields of computing, security, communications and information technology for the public sector.
