The 20th Annual
National High Performance Computing and Communications Conference
Main Street Supercomputing:
The Convergence of HPC and Grid Computing
Now in its 20th year, this limited attendance, high-level conference is a well-respected forum for strategists, technology and business decision makers, suppliers, end users and eco-system partners involved in high-end computing and communications technologies.
The audience, which includes senior professionals from DOD, government agencies, industry and academia, convenes each year to discuss topics of interest to the HPC community. Topics typically include homeland security; cyberspace security; government plans related to systems, software, applications and tools; updates on programs, policy and initiatives; and discussions of the latest advances in high performance computing, grid computing, cluster technology, computer security and university and industry research.
Over the past twenty years, the conference has grown into an elite community event and is well known for its networking and partnership-building environment.
This year’s program includes high level presentations from: DARPA, DOD, DOE, NASA, NSF, INTEL, SGI, OMB and the National Nuclear Security Administration, as well as two panel discussions: “Clusters, Grids, Supercomputers or Applications: What Will Drive HPC in the Future?” and “American HPC Enterprise Architecture in the Context of Everything Else.” The conference also includes a tutorial on 21st Century Data Center Design, presented by American Power Conversion Corporation.
The conference also features two networking events: a welcoming reception at the end of the first day and a networking reception and dinner on Wednesday evening.
Program registration is available online at: http://www.hpcc-usa.org/reg.html
Conference information and exhibitor sponsor information is available at: http://www.hpcc-usa.org, or by phone at 401.624.1723.
Attendance is limited. Be sure to register early.
The National HPCC Council is a not-for-profit professional society dedicated to providing education and training in the fields of computing, security, communications and information technology for the public sector. It was established pursuant to the authority of and in accordance with the desires of the President of the United States as expressed in a White House memorandum to the heads of Departments and Agencies, dated 28 June 1966, and in the instructions of the 89th Congress as expressed in the summary of H.R. 4845.
